Brigitte Altenhaus is a bilingual English Canadian, born in Montreal,  fortunate to be raised by an avant-garde Parisian mother and an English father.  Upon completing her  studies in Canada at College Jean de Brebeuf and Concordia University, she then moved to the USA and completed a Masters Degree at Brandeis University. While in grad school she simultaneously began her design career.

She is an artist, designer, photographer based in New York City,  who loves to  experiment and  discover  fresh  approaches. Her 25 years of design experience runs the gamut from Broadway Shows, feature films, network television, opera, commercials and industrials.

Her specialty is creating energizing, eclectic images that feed the senses, moves  the audience and showcases the exceptionality of the story.

She has had the privilege to collaborate with award winning directors, producers, designers and brands in the United States, Canada and Europe.

In addition to her career in the world of entertainment she has also had the possibility to pursue her passion in the world of sports, as a competitive figure skater and coach, encouraged and mentored by great Olympians.

This scope of  varied experiences amidst  the influence of such immense talent has contributed to paving an expansive and inspirational journey.

She believes in going beyond what is thought to be possible to innovate and pioneer for the future of our multidisciplinary world.

Brigitte manifests beauty in all forms of creation and design. 

 Grounded in her extensive background in fine arts, theatre arts and graphic design with her in-depth exploration and unwavering curiosity  she intuitively brings to life fresh solutions.

Just as form follows function in design, Brigitte effectively translates the intangible into a  functional manifestation of the most complex ideas.

Her process results in creating and curating  with the intent to engage and inspire.
